Terms of Service

Once you start using ciota.lol, these Terms apply. They set out what you can put on your page, what we can do as the platform, and how we handle things when something doesn’t go as planned.

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Welcome

ciota.lol is a profile platform, one shareable page where you collect your links, socials, music, and images. Pages are public by default, so anything you put on yours can be seen by anyone with the link. Only publish things you actually have the right to share.

These Terms apply whenever you visit, sign in, or otherwise use ciota.lol(the “Service”). Sticking around after we update them counts as agreeing to the new version, alongside any laws that apply where you live or where you’re using the Service from.

The Service itself, including our code, branding, design, and the materials we provide, is covered by copyright and other IP laws. Copying it, redistributing it, or using it without permission is a fast track to having your account paused or shut down.

Changes to these Terms

We can revise these Terms whenever it makes sense, to reflect new features, legal requirements, or how the Service works in practice. Updates take effect once they’re published here or sent your way another way, and continuing to use ciota.lolafter that means you’re on board with the new version. Worth checking back every so often.

When a change meaningfully affects something you paid for, we’ll do our best to give you a heads-up through the Service or by email before it takes effect. If the new Terms don’t sit right with you, stop using the Service.

Use of the Service

ciota.lolis here for you to use lawfully and within these Terms. That’s the core deal. Don’t do anything that breaks, slows down, or destabilizes the Service, and don’t make it harder for anyone else to enjoy their page or yours.

Pick a username that’s legal, honest, and isn’t stepping on anyone’s rights. Anything misleading, offensive, infringing, or pretending to be an official ciota.lol account can be reclaimed, renamed, or suspended at our end.

Whatever shows up on your page, every link, every image, every choice, is on you. You also agree to leave the security and integrity of the Service alone. In particular:

  • Don’t bypass our security, rate limits, or access controls, or go looking for vulnerabilities to poke at.
  • Don’t impersonate anyone, whether another person, a brand, or a staff member, or imply we’ve endorsed or partnered with you when we haven’t.
  • Don’t sneak into other users’ accounts, private data, or any backstage area not meant for you.
  • Don’t run bots, scrapers, or automated tooling against the Service without our written go-ahead.
  • Don’t upload or host malware, exploits, or harmful payloads, or use the Service to coordinate attacks on other systems.
  • Don’t publish or link to sexually explicit material, anything that sexualizes minors, or content that glorifies real-world violence or exploitation.

When something looks like it breaks these Terms, raises a security or legal concern, or hurts the rest of the community, we can pause, restrict, take down, or terminate the account, page, or content involved. Sometimes with a warning, sometimes without.

Image hosting

Image hosting is built for the kind of stuff that lives on a profile, like avatars, social content, and the visuals on your page. It is not a general-purpose CDN, an origin server, or a media backend for someone else’s app. We do offer image-host API keys and custom domains for uploading your own content, but that access is for your own use within the limits we set, not for reselling storage, mass hotlinking, or pushing traffic patterns that stick the rest of the platform with the bill.

Files that hurt performance or break these Terms are fair game for us to throttle, re-encode, optimize, or pull. If image hosting is being abused, expect tightened limits, and in serious cases the loss of the feature or the account behind it.

Security

We take sensible organizational and technical steps to keep the Service and your data safe. No system on the internet is bulletproof, though, so we can’t promise perfect security.

Keeping your password and login methods to yourself is your job. If you spot anything suspicious, like an unfamiliar session, a login you didn’t make, anything off, let us know at support@ciota.lol as soon as you can.

Your content and licensing

Anything you put on the Service, whether text, images, links, or anything else, is yours to stand behind. By posting it, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, that you’re allowed to grant us the license below, and that nothing about it breaks the law or steps on someone else’s rights.

When you post content, you grant ciota.lol a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, reformat, adapt, publish, distribute, and publicly display that content, to the extent reasonably required to run, maintain, and improve the Service.

The license ends when you remove the content, with two exceptions: other users may have copied, re-shared, or embedded it somewhere we can’t reach, and we may keep our own copies as long as we need them for legal, security, or Terms-enforcement reasons. Your content stays yours throughout.

Sometimes we hand out images, icons, or other assets meant for use on ciota.lol pages. Those are licensed for your ciota.lol page only, in line with any guidelines we publish.

Prohibited content and activities

Some content and conduct we won’t host, period. The list below is illustrative, not complete, and anything we decide puts users, the platform, or our compliance at risk can trigger immediate enforcement, with or without notice.

  • Anything that breaks local, national, or international law, or helps someone else break it.
  • Trampling someone’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, exploitative, or hateful material, and absolutely no sexualization of minors or non-consensual imagery.
  • Scams, phishing pages, impersonation campaigns, spam, or anything built to mislead.
  • Malware, exploits, DDoS payloads, mass-scraping, or tools meant to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Encouraging or glorifying violence, terrorism, discrimination, or self-harm.

When something crosses one of these lines, we can remove the content, restrict the feature, or act on the account behind it. Where the situation calls for it, we’ll report what we see to law enforcement and cooperate with valid investigations.

Third-party accounts and sites

Linking a third-party account, like Discord, social platforms, and similar, is optional. If you connect one, you’re letting us access and store whatever data that service shares with us based on its permissions and your settings. Your relationship with that service is governed by its terms, not ours.

ciota.lolshows and links to plenty of third-party sites and content. That’s the whole point of a bio link page. We don’t run those sites, don’t vouch for them, and aren’t responsible for their content or how they treat you. You’re free to add links as long as it’s legal and you’re not implying we’ve endorsed anyone we haven’t. Anything unlawful or misleading is something we can pull.

Account usage

Your account is yours alone. Don’t share your credentials, hand out logins, or resell access. anything that happens under your account gets attributed to you, and credential sharing is one of the fastest ways to lose access for everyone involved.

Patterns we tend to catch, like coordinated abuse, account resale, ban evasion, and payment-method recycling, usually trigger action across every account we can tie to the same activity, plus the payment methods linked to them.

Premium, pricing and purchases

ciota.lol offers optional paid upgrades, including Premium and cosmetic items such as badge tokens. Premium is a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription. You pay once and keep the upgrade. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we never store your full card details.

Listed prices are pre-tax and don’t include processing fees. The final amount is calculated at checkout and depends on your location and what you’re buying. When you place an order you agree to pay the price shown and authorize us to charge your chosen payment method. Keep your account and payment details accurate and current so transactions go through.

We can adjust pricing whenever; changes don’t reach back into payments you’ve already made unless we’re correcting an error. We may turn down any order or cap quantities across accounts, payment methods, and addresses that look connected.

Custom badges

  • Badges have to be your own original work, with no cloning or near-copies of ciota.lol’s official badges or system marks.
  • Badges follow the same Terms as everything else, including the content and IP rules above.
  • We can review, restrict, or pull badges that step over those lines, with or without warning.
  • Abusing the badge system can cost you customization access, partially or entirely.

No refund policy

Payments to ciota.lolare final. Unless the law tells us a refund is owed, we don’t refund for change of mind, features you didn’t end up using, or anything already delivered.

When we mess up the billing, like a wrong amount, wrong product, or a charge that shouldn’t have happened, we may refund or credit the difference at our discretion. Email support@ciota.lol if you think a charge needs a second look. Filing a chargeback against a valid charge breaks these Terms, and we can suspend or restrict the account and pull access to what you bought until the dispute is closed.

Privacy

Using ciota.lol also means our Privacy Policy applies. It walks through what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By being here you’re consenting to the practices described there.

Once an account deletion request is verified, your personal account data and the content you posted are permanently removed from our active systems, and there’s no undoing it. Some logs and backups linger briefly for security and legal-compliance reasons, then rotate out automatically.

Intellectual property

The Service and the materials we provide on it, your own content excepted, are protected by copyright and other IP laws. Unless these Terms or the law explicitly say so, you can’t copy, change, redistribute, sell, reverse-engineer (beyond what the law specifically permits), or build derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission. These Terms hand you the narrow set of rights you need to use the Service as described. Every other right stays with ciota.lol.

Disclaimers and liability

ciota.lolis provided “as is” and “as available,” with no warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law permits, we disclaim every express, implied, and statutory warranty, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We can’t promise the Service will always be online, secure, or error-free, and you use it at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ciota.loland its operators against any claim, loss, or cost, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use or misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else’s rights. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill.

Term and termination

These Terms apply from the moment you first touch the Service and stay in effect until either side ends the relationship. You can step away whenever you want. We can suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, access, or content for any reason these Terms allow, like violations, misuse, fraud, or legal compliance. Once the agreement ends, the rights we granted you end with it; the clauses that ought to outlive termination, like ownership, outstanding payments, disclaimers, indemnities, and liability limits, keep on applying.
